Polynucleotide FAQ’s

  • Polynucleotides contain only DNA fragments (unless combined with hyaluronic acid) therefore they do not add any volume. Instead they work on improving the skin quality, hydration and health.

  • Polynucleotides for the face and undereyes require an initial course of 3-4 sessions at 1 month intervals.

    Polynucleotides for hair restoration require an initial course of 8 sessions at 1 month intervals.

    Maintenance is 1 session every 6 months.

  • Due to the technique of injections, it is typical to have raised blebs for up to 24 hours. Bruising, redness and pinpoint redness is also common and should settle within the week.

  • NEWEST is a polynucleotide combined with hyaluronic acid which accelerates hydration. This is limited to the midface, lower face and neck regions only (not for undereyes)

    There are also preparations of polynucleotides for hair restoration.

  • Polynucleotides are commonly stacked with other skin and injectable treatments as they work well to prime the skin and improve downtime significantly.
